Very kind and helpful staff. We visited the retrospective exhibition, which is only available until May 17. Well-structured, detailed, and with a cozy atmosphere. The building itself is absolutely stunning as well. Located in downtown Budapest, easy to reach, and no advance booking is needed. They also have several exhibitions and combined ticket options available. One thing I noticed: the ticket prices were not the same as the ones listed on the website.
It was a great experience. You have to visit it since it’s included in the city pass card. I would recommend you especially the second floor.
Budapest starts here for me. Robert Capa is a true icon, and his work offers so much for the next generation to honor. Being in this space, his famous philosophy of 'getting close enough' feels more powerful and real than ever.
I wasn’t expecting to be so good. I love Capa’s work. Looking at his work is looking at the history of photography itself since we can see clearly how the evolution of photography has been shaped by his work. Also there was another amazing exhibitions going on too. It’s a must go in Budapest!
Wonderful place. Got to know about a great photojournalist who also happened to be the coo founder of magnum photos! His images are so alive and tells a story! When you visit you get to meet a person who lived his life fully! What a life! What a brilliant collection of photographs! The place offers luggage room and toilet. With Budapest card you also get free entry. If you love photography this is a must visit place when you’re in Budapest.
